Hello again
crafty peeps!
I had previously mentioned in my
prior post that I was going to post this second card yesterday, but I totally forgot .
This is the birthday
card I made for my Nephew Kyle. He is actually a goalie, and I just wasn’t
able to find a goalie digi that I liked until I came across this one by Kenny K Downloads.
I simply
fell in love with this little fella’s smug expression, so I just had to have
it. I spoke briefly with my nephew this past Saturday while at a family function, and I apologized to him for
not picking a goalie image. He told me that it didn’t matter because he liked
the one I picked, and was only too willing to
mimic it perfectly!
I have
personally named this confident little fella, Hockey Guy Ky.
A closer
look…
I printed
him out onto Neenah card stock and coloured him with my Copic markers. I tried to match up his jersey with Kyle's own hockey team colours.
Jersey – B32, 34, 37,
39
Pants – C3, 5, 7, 9
Skates – N1, 2, 3, 5, 7 BG11
Gloves - W00, 1, BG 000
Helmet – C3, 5, 7, 9
Hockey Stick – E51, 53, 55
W3
Skin – E0000, 000, 01
I used
basic plain card stock, and embossed the white background piece. Then I bought a bunch
of hockey stickers from Michaels to finish it off.
There you have it, two birthdays down and two masculine cards created.
Hope you liked them, thanks for stopping by.
